For the last project of the year, we are again completing a group project. This time my group has been asked to create a website that will adress a problem and morgantown and give possible resolutions to this problem.
For this task, my group has decided to design a page that focuses on the litter problem in the sunnyside area of town. Littering is a big problem in sunnyside and right now there is little to nothing being done about it. To fix that problem we decided to design a site that will encourage existing civic and nonprofit organizations to take action against this problem.
This first step to making this a reality would be contacting organizations that would be interested in contributing time and funds to a project like this one.

That'll teach 'em
here's the final thought from the wvsr today. its too bad that stuff like this would never happen today:
One of the kids we took bowling is apparently getting “mouthy” with his parents, and getting Ds on his report card, etc. So the mother punished him by getting his hair cut real short. The kid’s eleven, and it’s apparently one of his greatest fears. She told him that if he didn’t straighten up, she’d take him back and have it taken down to a “two.”I thought that was, um, creative. Kinda cruel, but definitely creative. It reminded me of sixth grade, when somebody carved the word FUCK into the bathroom door. The principal came to our room and demanded to know who did it. When nobody confessed, he ordered the door removed. These were little bathrooms, one in every class. And we had no door until someone fessed up. We’d go in there and have to stand at a 45-degree angle to pee, and the girls had it even worse. It didn’t take long for the “artist” to step forward; there was a bit of social pressure. Can you imagine something like that happening today? They’d have the principal brought up on charges, Bill O’Reilly would be calling for his execution, and the students would be forced to undergo intense therapy. You know it’s true. What’s the most creative form of punishment you’ve ever been subjected to? Or, for that matter, heard about? Tell us about it, won’t you?

Supersizing My Project
To begin adding content to my web page for project three, the first thing i want to do is take the information that i have compiled for the first project and expand it in many ways. Because i only included a very basic description of my neighborhood in the first project, in this project i want to take those same ideas and explore them more fully.
The first area that i could add more content would be to add more detailed descriptions. I have pages dedicated to several things in my neighborhood and description is something that all of them lack.
Aside from more concrete description, i hope to also add some reflective content that helps describe what my experiences have been like living in this place and possibly some other stories from neighbors that have lived there longer than i have.
I would also like to talk more about my house and what it has been like living there this past year.
Because of this new content i hope to add additional pages that will not only expand on the content from the first project, but also explore areas that i forgot the first time.
